We keep data processing to a minimum. This policy explains what we process and why. The German version is authoritative.

2. What we store when you use Wichtelrunde
- Group details you enter (name, occasion, budget, dates, rules, notes).
- Participants' names, wishes and exclusions, as well as the draw result.
- No email addresses, no user accounts, no tracking or advertising cookies, no analytics tools.
Legal basis: performance of the service you request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Groups and all associated data are deleted automatically 30 days after the gift exchange date. Anyone with a secret link can see what that link grants – please keep links private.
3. Storage on your device and cookies
We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising. In your browser's local storage we only save the links you remember under “My groups”, saved gift ideas and that you have seen our cookie notice. This data never leaves your device and you can delete it at any time in your browser settings. Only the operator's protected admin area sets a technically necessary session cookie.
4. Hosting and server logs
This website is hosted on Microsoft Azure (Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd., Dublin) in a data centre in Germany. When you visit, technically necessary data (IP address, time, requested page, browser) is processed in server logs to ensure secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and deleted after a short period.
5. Fonts
Fonts are served from our own server; no connection to Google is made.
6. Affiliate links and product images (Amazon)
Gift ideas link to Amazon.de. We count clicks on these links anonymously (without personal data) to sort ideas by popularity. Only when you click a link does Amazon process data under its own privacy policy. If product images are shown, they are loaded from Amazon servers; your browser transmits your IP address to Amazon in the process (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. To exercise them, write to us at office@designfourju.at. You can lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, dsb.gv.at).
